During the morning assembly of this Wednesday, G7's four Houses competed fiercely with each other in the final of our first Chinese literary and historical knowledge competition. Teresa House was the winner, defeating Gandhi House with a score of 50 to 45.

本周三晨会上，学校首届文史知识大赛决赛在七年级四个学院间精彩上演，各学院带着初赛时的积分进入决赛。经过两轮对决，最终特蕾莎学院杀出重围，以50比45的成绩险胜甘地队，成为上海康德第一届文史知识竞赛冠军学院。

The competition tested our students in China’s classical poetry, literary classics, idioms, etc.. Each of them performed well, and the scores were very close, which made the competition intense and fierce. It is worth noting that some students responded very quickly and accurately, drawing applause from the audience. Their outstanding performance showed that they read a lot in daily life.

本次竞赛考验了小选手们在中国古典诗词、文学名著、历史常识等方面的功底。比赛中，大家你追我赶，将比分咬得很紧，现场气氛紧张而激烈。值得注意的是，有些学生答题迅速且准确率高，引来台下师生的阵阵掌声，他们出色的表现足以说明平时的阅读量之大。

It is more than a competition. We also took this opportunity to show students China’s long history, the profoundness of its traditional culture, and the significance and beauty of its literature, so that they will have more knowledge about their own country at the same time of learning western cultures. We’d like to extend our gratitude to all the teachers teaching Chinese and History in our Chinese teaching and research team for planning, organizing and hosting such a wonderful and meaningful activity.

文史知识比赛不仅仅是一场竞赛，我校更是借此机会，向学生展示中国历史的源远流长、传统文化的博大精深、以及文学诗词的隽永优美，让他们在放眼世界的同时，能更好地立足中国。在此，非常感谢中方课程教研组语文和历史老师策划、组织并主持了如此精彩而有意义的学科竞赛活动。
