今天 , “国学”正在以空前的热度与速度浩然兴起。这引起了社会的广泛关注 ,也引出了 一些有待澄清的问题。 本文希望就何为国学、怎样看待当前的 “国学热”、 对 “国学”应抱什么样的态度以及弘扬国学的目的等问题展开讨论 ,阐明个人对此的一些看法。一、什么是 “国学”“国学”一词 ,始见于西周 ,原义指由周王朝开设的专供 “国子”就读的学校 ,用今天的话说就是国家级学校。 此义沿用至清 ,凡历代朝廷设立的学校 ,如太学、国子监等 ,均可称之为 “国学”。现在所用的 “国学”的概念 ,出现于 “西学东渐”之后 ,约 20 世纪初 ,是相对于 “西学”而言的 。 梁启超曾拟办 《国学报》。 1909 年 ,南社发起人之一高旭发表《南社启》 ,其中说 : “国有魂则国存 ,国无魂则国将从此亡矣。 夫人莫哀于亡国 ,若一任国魂之飘荡失所 ,奚其可哉 ! 然则国魂果何所寄 ? 曰寄国学。 欲存国魂 ,必
